Welcome to Splitro. By accessing or using our app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Overview of the Service

Splitro allows users to join groups, split payments, contribute to creator wishlists, and send or receive gifts. We facilitate payment sharing using third-party services such as Stripe.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Payments

• All payments are processed through Stripe; we do not store card details.
• Contributions and payments are generally final unless required otherwise by law.
• Splitro is not responsible for payment processor issues or delays.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload (e.g., profile images, wishlist items). By uploading content, you grant us a licence to display it within the app for functionality purposes.

You agree not to upload illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content that you do not own.

6. Prohibited Use

• Attempting to exploit, reverse-engineer, or harm the app.
• Using the app for unlawful activity.
• Harassing or harming other users.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Splitro service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for:

• Service outages or interruptions.
• Third-party service failures (e.g., Stripe, Firebase).
• User-generated content or actions.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Splitro at any time for violating these Terms or for operational reasons.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated within the app.
